From humble beginnings at a small office in Gandhinagar (Gujarat), VMLS as an organization is currently serving in Gujarat, Rajasthan and now Maharashtra too. VMLS is enabling the student community and the education fraternity in general under the aegis of its Sansthapaks (Founders) Mr. Hardik Parikh and Ms. Paridhi Parikh.

  • What is Vedic Mathematics?

    Vedic Mathematics is ancient system of mathematics which was formulated and encapsulated in modern form by Respected Swami Bharthi Krishna Tirtha ji. He was the 143rd Shankaracharya of Goverdhan Peeth, Puri. The concept of Vedic Mathematics is further divided into 16 sutras which are further divided into upsutras.

  • Why should one know Vedic mathematics?

    ‘Vedic Mathematics’ is a unique technique of calculations based on simple rules and principles, with which any mathematical problem – be it arithmetic, algebra, geometry or trigonometry – can be solved, hold your breath, orally! It also lays a strong foundation of Mathematics in kids which will in turn enable them to perform well in various exams in the future like JEE, UPSC, Olympiads, etc. Most of the students who learn Vedic Math fall in love with the subject. It has been observed that their performance in the school/ college exams also improves drastically.

  • How is Vedic Math different?

    In the Vedic system ‘difficult’ problems or huge calculation can be often solved immediately by the Vedic method. These striking and beautiful methods are just a part of a complete system of mathematics which is far more systematic than the ‘modern system’. Vedic Mathematics manifests the coherent and unified structure of mathematics and the methods are complementary, direct and easy.

    The knowledge of Vedic Math will definitely enable the child and help him/ her in the school curriculum as well.The Vedic Math methods, infact, make Math much easier for the child.

    Indeed. It is infact very useful. Students in higher standards are going to face different competitive exams. In these exams, normally, the knowledge of Mathematics and Logic comes in handy. With the help of Vedic Mathematics the application can be much faster. Vedic Math can definitely help the grown-ups to perform better at various levels in their careers.
